After a bachelor in Fine Arts and graduating in Cinematography at Brussels filmschool INSAS, Tim started to work as assistant camera on VFX, special venues, large format (65/70mm) and stereoscopic-3D.
From 1997 to 2005, he worked mainly as motion control operator on various commercials and feature films such as "The Patriot", "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and "The Sea inside".
Since 2006, Tim specialized in 3D-tracking / matchmoving. His work include the feature films "Captain America: First Avenger" and "X-Men: First Class" as senior artist, "Warriers' Gate" and "League of Gods" as matchmove lead and various commercials, the Madonna video "4 Minutes (to save the World)" and the stereoscopic feature "Valley of the Lost Ants" as on-set supervisor.
As stereographer, Tim provides consulting, supervision, stereoscopic cinematography, stereo finishing and 3D-screenings in his privat 2k-S3D screening-room. He has been awarded as stereographer for the short "Cyber-Heidi-3D" in 2003 and the theme-park ride "Vampires of Vienna-5D" in 2010.
In 2015 Tim
co-developed a S3D60 slitscan camera and -workflow, as used for the stereoscopic 360° feature "I, Philip".
Since 1999, Tim lectures occasionally at int. filmschools and VFX-conferences. |
