3. You must sign your posts with your real name as well as your job title and location.
4. This forum is for professionals who work in digital- and post-production: students and non-professionals may post questions but only after searching the archive and clearly stating their background.
5. Keep your posts as short and to the point as possible. Never quote more than absolutely nessecary.
6. Post in the most appropriate forum. Do not post the same message to more than one forum.
7. Do not speak beyond your experience. Informed speculation is allowed, but if you are speculating say so.
8. If you work for a company whose product you are discussing, say so.
9. Remember that this forum is international and multicultural. Respect diversity, be helpful, polite, friendly, and tolerant of others whose experience may be quite different from yours. Avoid politics and religious discussions. You may post in either English, French or German. Nevertheless, English is the default language of this forum.
10. When replying, address the question, not the person who asked it. Address your message to everyone on this forum.
11. Always re-read your post before you send it, and check the address you are posting to. Don't send private messages to the list by mistake.
12. Sometimes messages may be delayed by severall hours. Do not repost if your message does not appear on the list immediately.
